Remove kissing gates from footpaths, remove all gates on bridleways/cycle paths

Replace kissing gates, especially on public rights of way, with something else.

Remove all gates from cycle paths. If there are animals which need to be contained, a fence along the length of the path would be better.

Why the contribution is important

Kissing gates are not accessible.

Gates on bridleways/cycle paths are very inconvenient. We don't have gates across public roads, so why do we have gates on public cycle paths?

Good to make walkways as accessible as possible and where cyclists and walkers interact on the same path, to let people use basic decency rather than gates.

Hope someone has asked the farming community what they think of the practicality of applying that idea across all BANES rural areas? Who's going to own the fences andd be responsible for mending the fences and replacing the fence posts when necessary? Council tax payers?
